JOZANI FOREST is the one of the last remaining sanctuaries in the world it contain red colobus monkey. The forest has 2,512 hectares (6,207 acres) in size and was declared a nature reserve in the 1960′s. In 1993, the Jozani Forest was declared as a National Park and home the endemic Kirk’s Red Colobus monkey, blue (gray) Sykes’ monkey, chameleons, dik-dik antelopes, and wild pigs. During the guided walk, you will discover the secrets of this small tropical forest and the nearby mangrove forest.
At Salaam cave you will swim with turtles. The cave houses and cares for sea turtles, providing a safe environment for these magnificent creatures. Visitors have the opportunity to learn about sea turtle conservation and rehabilitation programs, as well as observe the turtles up close.
